MEDIA ROOTS – Luke Rudkowski of WeAreChange and I got the chance to confront Senator Rand Paul about some of the questions thousands of his supporters have about his endorsement for Presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Luke spots the Senator walking outside and questions him about his endorsement, just days after Mitt was spotted at the Bilderberg Group, according to the London Guardian. He also brings up his previous interview he had with pre-Senate Paul where Paul said that the Bilderberg Group had malintentions and that Goldman Sachs should be audited. Romney has received over half a million dollars from Goldman Sachs for his 2012 campaign. I then follow up inside the Senate building and ask him why he is supporting a candidate that endorses all the policies Rand claims he is against.

Rand Paul Confronted about Romney Endorsement

Great idea guys! They totally should have asked Rand for an appointment to speak to them! Clearly both of you don’t quite “get” how politics work but it’s damn near impossible to get “interviews” with politicians unless you are a corporate news lackey presstitute. Also, the only reason Peter Schiff did an interview with Rand was because they work together, he was Ron Paul’s economic adviser. People want answers and they tried to get them, so quiet down.

I agree with Ben down below. You don’t just walk up to him and ask him a question and keep pushing the issue without his acknowledgement. Pretty rude and inconsiderate. The least you could have done is asked him if he could have a word with you about the recent endorsement. He might have actually stopped and gave you an opportunity.
I wouldnt have answered his questions either if I was Rand. what a rude “reporter”. he’s actually spoken with this guy before about some of the same things. luke’s style of interviewing isn’t the most cordial, it’s the in-your-face-my-questions-are-more-important-than-your-schedule type of thing. rand politely told him he was busy, and rand has already addressed everything this guy was asking on the daily paul radio interview with kurt wallace, and on peter schiff’s show. And the way he sent that other person in there to ask again, but was dumb enough to still stand there and act like Rand didnt know what was up. Rand said this whole time, he would endorse whatever candidate would be the nominee, that he would endorse the party.
Just walked on by you.
