At the 2018 Motherfucker Awards, Abby Martin presented the Motherfucker award in the FIRE category to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company. PG&E equipment was responsible for at least 17 of 21 major fires in Northern California in the past year. Many of these fires were due to lack of powerline maintenance.
