Some excellent work-done on BTS, Abby, luvd every minute of it. Must say, it’s hard not having you on TV; as a 2D construct, TV acquiesces & condones the ‘message’ relayed; a-la Marshall McLuhan, which subjectifies the viewer. Your show Abby brought the only Real TV to our screens because your work forced the viewer to objectify to themselves what they thought, about what they were watching. Thankyou, Abby Martin.
Last point; TV is now more-so a cyberweapon than the Internet.
And, I cried too on your last show. Peace.

I have only just come across Media Roots, what a great website full of interesting and revealing news stories, thanks

It’s weird I used to regularly tune in to the wonderful Abbey Martin on Breaking the Set, yet I missed the fact that Abbey was quitting the show… yeah I’m slow! :p But I’m so pleased I’m foolowing Abbey on Twitter, otherwise I never would have found Media Roots!

I really hope Abbey continues doing the great work she always has done, go Abbey!

Without RT, Press TV, EuroNews, Democracy Now, the Guardian, TruthDig, the Intercept and the BBC I wouldn’t be able to read between the lines and be able to see what is happening in the world. Pity the people who only get, and believe, mainstream news.
