One day, assuming we humans make it through to one day, I hope we look at history and view war as primitive, ignorant, grotesque and a blight on humankind. I have deep empathy for soldiers and deep disgust for the executive branch, legislators and international bodies who send them into battle. The entire process of war against other human beings is destructive individually and collectively and war has no good results current or future. Great Article.
