So much of what qualifies as “Contemporary” art emphasizes an explanation of the work or the discussion of an artist’s “story” rather than focusing on what the work itself communicates (or how well it does so.)

This is just one man’s opinion and I mean no disrespect – just reacting to what I’ve been presented.
