In Australia at the moment there are protest that are going on regarding the genocide of the Indigneous people of the land. On the 1st of May 2015, there were marches held worldwide to ‘Stop the forced closure of Aboriginal Communities’ because the Australian Government is trying to illegally appropriate the land for their mining buddies to steal resources and make a buck.

There is a page on facebook by the name of ‘Blackfulla Revolution’, that you could visit and talk to in more length and with greater detail of the protests and genocide going on.

John Pilger is an Australian Journalist who is helping the fight by publishing articles where he can and creating documentaries regarding the genocide committed by those in power within the Australian Government.

They, we, are trying to reach more people to grab the attentions of media worldwide to shame the government/politicians and mainstream media here in Australia for their actions (or inaction, as the media tends to ignore the peaceful protests).

The mainstream media in Australia tends to highlight protests where violence occurs or has a racist slant in their publication of an article regarding the protests).

The indigenous people of the land need help in making this issue known worldwide and I hope you can assist.

To be honest, I keep trying to not get involved in politics, as strange things seem to happen to me when I do, but it’s hard to not speak out with so many things happening in the country right now. And frankly, I’ve been struggling a lot for the past few years, so I’ve been trying to channel my own struggle into something positive.

Anyhow, if there’s a way I can contribute, please let me know, as right now I feel like a lone voice crying out in the wilderness. I’m interested a lot in poverty and economic inequality and ways in which our society makes it nearly impossible for people to break out of poverty while at the same time accusing poor people of not trying hard enough to succeed. Of course, if you’re not looking for contributors, that’s okay too…

First of all, congratulations for your work. You are doing an amazing job at providing a second opinion to the West.

I am writing to you because I would very much like to contribute to this difficult task – wondering in particular if this type of info should not be extended out of the anglophone sphere. Only a minority of people actually understand English well enough to grasp the content of the shows or the articles. And yet the world would benefit from them doing so.

What I offer would be articles in French, translations to French, or local reporting in Europe.

Keeping it short, I am a 28-year-old Swiss citizen, working as a university researcher in law, with good command of French, English and German, and basic understanding of Italian, Spanish, middle-eastern Arabic and Mandarin Chinese.
