Also notable about the Project Censored interviewed is Dr. Peter Phillips’ question (which we must not be afraid to ask):

Dr. Peter Phillips (c. 27:45): “[Interim Venezuelan President Nicolás] Maduro implied this week that they were going to investigate Hugo Chávez’s death. And what they were referring to was that the President of Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay have all had cancer—and Hugo Chavez as well—that there was an implied link there. Do you give that any credit?”

Martin Sanchez said, “Well, I think it’s worth investigating.” Indeed. Notably, Sanchez mentions reports of US radiation experiments on certain inmates without consent, apparently, to weaponise cancer in relation to “Puerto Rican independence hero Pedro Albizu Campos […] the first Latino to graduate from Harvard with honours,” as well as other inmates.

This reminds me of JR Valrey (of KPFA’s Morning Mix with JR and Block Report Radio–currently suspended from the air, presumably for on-air violations, but JR says it’s due to persistent racial tensions, “racism,” at KPFA). Anyway, JR on KPFA is the first time I heard anyone question the death of Bob Marley due to cancer. Certainly, the establishment (or factions within it) would have just as much motive to assassinate Bob Marley, as they would MLK, X, JFK, Fred Hampton, etcetera. Perhaps, there would be more motive when such figures have such international stature with such international appeal running counter to capitalistic ruling-class establishment narratives capable of meaningfully raising the consciousness of millions of people.
