I think that we can’t give up on the political process. The two party system is obviously corrupt but if we dont vote and don’t continue to be active in the political system we will be handing it over to people who will continue to use it or evil. Apathy is what has put us in this position politically. When people are so absorbed by entertainment and uneducated about politics, thinking that it doesn’t effect them, the people that are power hungry can walk right on with no opposition, puppets of the wealthy can be put into place for their turn to try to climb the ladder and we all suffer for it. The appeal of Paul was the promise of something different but now I don’t know what to think, I just feel betrayed. I want to believe so badly that we aren’t completely screwed.
